This is a heartbreaking tale of the inbred injustice in the bureaucratic maze that child protection services has become. Couple that with the 'good-ol'-boy' network of the bar association's incest, and the poor, unsuspecting citizen approaching in the naive hope of "justice", and you can't help empathizing with the victim's of "justice" described in this book. Unfortunately, it appears the only way to change it is an uprising of the populace; but since the system carefully keeps the populace unaware, ignorant, and uninformed nothing can change. The author of this book, a fellow Army Ranger, refuses to accept that condition and fights it as mightily as a non-attorney can. We can help by spreading the word. The story is true, I met most of these people. I had gone through the system but beat one of the judges that Ron mentions. He was probably scared when Bruce got a decent ruling from him but I was hounded by the man for two decades until he died because I was just a high school grad at the time but stuck to my guns, lol, for all you who don't know me. He even stopped the registering of my satisfaction letter in the Fulton Co. courthouse in revenge. 4 years after his death I sold my property and found out what he did. I was also put on a black list but was told this by a young lawyer who was handling a civil class action suit. He told me why he did not want my name on the papers back in 1990. These judges in Penna want to have their retirement age extended to 75 from 70 in the Fall Election. They lost that vote in the Primary, see how they manipulate things??? Election results were thrown out in Spring of 2016 which was expected to be a low turn out and get it passed. Power needs to be taken away by changing the years elected to one term of only five years. Magistrates often defer to the D.A. because in Penna they do not have to have a law degree but the judiciary is trying to change that. Your social security money was taken to pay for foster care kids who were adopted by saying that they were orphans. I saw that when I worked at the main office. It was implemented by Gov. Ridge in 1996 and cut when the Iraq War costs got too high by Pres. Bush in 2006. For every dollar of child support collected the federal government paid county offices a dollar for cost of collection... Yes, it is a redistribute the money scheme. It is used as a form of patronage, in Lancaster county the Amish do vote and foster care is a way for them to get workers to replace the 3 out of 4 Amish children with mental and physical disabilities that is taken care of by John Hopkins.
