I guess I'm glutton for punishment...Book 1 was not really good and I guess I was curious to see if the writing got better or worse in Book 2. Ok, so this book was only slightly better than the first one plot wise. The writing is still a bit cheesy and the author still DESPERATELY needs a good editor; and is it FBI training to help a victim temporarily forget or ease the pain by sleeping/having sex with the victim? (Speaking sarcastically of course). Again, so much potential, but a good editing team could have really helped this author produce a great book.Product details

I definitely recommend others to read these books. They will keep you drawn in and wanting to know more. She definitely has a way with writing to keep you wanting more.

This book was a very good read. This book is about Kristin, she's a pediatrician, one of the best ones. There is a serial killer on the loose and she fits his type. Well, she gets kidnapped by him. She's not one of the weak female leads in a lot of books, she's strong and keeps her head about her. Matt is with the FBI, he is Derek's older brother (we met Derek in the first book). I really enjoyed reading this, and when the next book comes out, I will read that as well.
Another good story. Unlike the last this one was more personal and the characters were more alive. The suspense was sharper as well. Just a couple odd things, after having the scenes with the serial killer, just having it stop. I feel it may have been improved to see his anger and feeling of invincibility. Also, after Derek had mentioned not making yhe same mistake twice, they did exactly that in not giving out all information.
I like how the story isn't completely typical and doesn't seek to stand on extreme violence or sex. I have grown very fond of the characters and look forward to seeing what and who is up next.
